I have been employed by the Gibson Pike Warrick Special Education
Cooperative as a Program Assistant. I have been assigned to several
different schools and grade levels over the years. I have worked with
children in Developmental Kindergarten all the way up to High School. The
past 4 years I have been working with Junior High students at Castle North
Middle School.
My duties have included assisting the classroom teacher with learning
disabled students, assignments, discipline, classroom management, and any
other duties assigned. My position has involved managing my own classroom
with various groups of students who need homework/study hall assistance. I
have administered the ISTEP tests, been responsible for a study hall of 85
students, and have oversight of a homeroom.
I have also been employed as a Substitute Teacher and a Remedial Aide
with the Warrick County School Corporation from February, 2000 through May,
2001. From March, 1999 through August, 2001 I was employed by the YMCA of
Southwestern Indiana as a Child Care Worker and Site Coordinator.

My immediate supervisor was Nathan Geil. I was a part-time Marketing
Associate. I made phone calls from the Call Center to prospective
customers. My duties were to explain our products in a way that caught the
prospect's interest. I would then set a lead for the Sales Associate to
call. They actually sold the product at that point. We used a computer
system that automatically called each prospect.
August, 1986 - September, 1988
Regency Property Management, now located at 330 Cross Pointe Blvd.,
Evansville - 424-9200. My immediate supervisor was Margaret Smith. I was
her
Administrative Assistant in charge of employee benefits records, word
processing
receptionist back-up, reconciling monthly bank statements, and assisting
other
departments as needed.

Builders Specialties - no longer in business. One of the partners was
Herb Carr.
My duties included receptionist, filing, data entry, printing bills at the
end of the day, and

first
District Manager was Larry Redding, then Bill Beard. I am not sure if
either of these
men are still with the company but I know they are no longer in this area.
My title was
District Secretary. I handled all correspondence for the District
Manager, Account
Managers, and Rental Agents. I was the receptionist back-up, did data
entry for vehicle
orders, kept employee benefits records, and casual drivers payroll. I
attended training
sessions for all District Secretaries and some meetings at the Regional
Office in
Nashville, TN.
VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
( I have served on the Boonville Band Board of Directors as a class
representative. I have assisted with fitting band uniforms,
recruiting concession stand workers, serving on various committees,
and chaperoning on band contest trips.
. I have acted as Proctor for the Spell Bowl Team at Oakdale Elementary
from 2001 through 2003.
( I have worked with my daughters' Girl Scout troops from 1998 to
2005 as a
Co-leader, committee chairperson, and chaperone.
( I have assisted the Directors of the Boonville High School
spring musical during
several productions. My responsibilities were to make costumes and
supervise approximately 20 children in learning their parts and
performing.
I continue to help with costumes for their spring productions.
. I served on the Executive Board of the PTA at Daniel Wertz Elementary
School in Evansville, Indiana in 1997.
. As a Room Mother, I have helped supervise field trips and room parties
and prepare food and craft projects as needed.
. I have taught Sunday School, worked in the nursery, sang in the choir
and led children's music and craft programs at my church.
