Run a crew of 12 HVAC mechanics to repair a/c, building
controls, water treatment and all related equipment for the
entire University campus. Order parts for repairs, set repair
schedules, inspect & release contracted work set-up and
completion. I was responsible for disciplinary action of 12
employees under my supervision, set daily schedules and work
with my employees when needed. I help set budgets and
multiple year planning. I oversaw the maintenance on chillers
1800 tons to 400 and boilers 350hp, set the requirements for
the pm's on all equipment, advised on the design of new
buildings and equipment. Handled shop reporting on
productivity and back log. I have worked directly with
contractors on projects at, Library, Walker Ed, East Plant,
West Plant, and have several project set for the upcoming
years at SHSU.

Hydraulic/Pneumatic mechanic, preventative maintenance,
vibrational analyst SKF prism based, level 2 diagnostics,
safety training, HASMAT and confined space rescue training,
Lwellyn Technology-basic electrical, pump and seal mechanic,
read blue prints, welding & fitting, ordering parts, running
crews of up to 35 contractors, computer readouts to locate
problems in vibration of machinery and bearing wear for
preventative maintenance. I handled in field engineering &
profit modification to increase performance & decrease
operational cost. Relocate to the Huntsville/Conroe area.
1985-1986 Millwright/Leadman/Welder Metric Constructors
Midlothian, Texas
Millwright construction on new cement plant & crushing
systems. Krupp crushers 420 ton mobile crusher, Locheirn
Rawmill-precision alignment & leveling, assembly & testing of
mechanical systems. Also worked as ironworker & handled in
field engineering. Built the cement plant from the ground
up, after job completion, the company hired as a full time
industrial mechanic.
1984-1985 Millwright/Working Foreman ICO-Universals Tubular
Houston, Texas
Responsible for construction of water, air & hydraulic
systems throughout the project. Supervised crew installing
machinery, building handling equipment, tables & conveyors.
Supervised crew installing valve system for hydrostatic
testers, Morseki SL6 & SL8 threaders, Landus threaders,
Broadbent lathe & rotary straighteners. Designed, installed
& maintained a hydrostatic tester & an ID boring system for
small pipe used for drilling oil. I had from 6 to 20 men on
my crew at various times. Jobs were completed ahead of
schedule & under budget. Job completed.

elevation during pouring of slabs, directed electrical
troubleshooting of air and hydraulic systems & precision
leveling of machinery. Jobs were completed ahead of schedule
& under budget. Job completed.

Brought in to supervise completion of new building &
installation of SL6 threaders. Also ran the maintenance crew
that took care of all the machinery in this plant. This
company produced casing for oil field drilling. Jobs were
completed ahead of schedule & under budget. Job completed.
1980-1982 Maintenance Tech/Crew Leader National Pipe & Tube
Liberty, Texas
Overall plant maintenance, repair of air hydraulics,
machinery, welding, fitting & fabrication. Also repaired
overhead cranes (Conoco & Landel). Plant machinery included
pipe threaders, coldsizers, coupling machines, hydrostatic
testers, furnace line, transfer tables, tempering line &
conveyor lines. Company closed due to oil crunch.
1971-1980 Aviation Mechanic/Hydraulics U.S. Navy Norfolk, VA
Maintenance & repair of several types of aircraft. This
included structural & hydraulics.
Additional Information
Naval training included flight engineer training, aircraft
hydraulics, aircraft sheet metal mechanic, corrosion control-paints & dopes
and administrative & management training. Computer training includes
UTA basic-Windows, Comp USA-Windows 95 & 98 basic, Vista & intermediate,
Mapcon, Microsoft Access & Excel and Corel Word Perfect. Other training
