Hello,
My name is Jennifer Marrero, I am 19 years old. My Heritage is Puertorican, Mexican, and
Filipino, No I am not bilingual but I am willing to learn the language if that is necessary. I am a
fully trained Medical Receptionist. I have been trained in more than just filing, typing & phone
skills. I have skills in insurance, Coding and transcriptions. I also have knowledge in banking,
inventory and EMR. I have experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint,
and in Microsoft Outlook. I know how to use medisoft and Office hours. i am willing to learn other
computer software’s if it is needed. I have knowledge in Med. Terminology, and i know how to set
up and cancel appointments. I am certified in MOC, CPR, First AID, HIPAA, and Blood Bourne. I
have an open mind and am a very positive person. I like to be early and love to get my work done
in a hourly manner. I am very precise in my work, and love to have everything neat.
I live my life to the fullest and do whatever is necessary to keep a smile on not only mine but
everyone else around me's faces. I love to see people smile and have a great time and I am
willing to do whatever I can to keep them there. I am a very caring person and enjoy seeing
peoples energy up and as bright as a Sunday morning. If I were to say what my strongest motive
is I would say my words of advice and couragement. Now my weakness, I tend to hold certain
emotions in, I only do that when something drastic has happened like if there is a death in my
family that i was really close to. I don't like seeing people see me upset so i hide some of my
feelings till i have the opportunity to be by myself to vent them off . I am the kind of person who will
settle my emotions at home and not at work. I take work serious and will not ever let my personal
life interfere with it at any given moment.
My goals in life is to be able to have a job that help me to my feet until I am able to pay for
college and set my foot in becoming a pediatric nurse. I am willing to still work part time even
when I am in college because I don't like quitting something that i have just started. I am hoping to
be able to own my own car and home by the time I am in my late 20's.
I hope that this letter shows you a sample about who I am and what my goals are, I hope that you
6
would consider me as a part of your team thank you .
Sincerely, Jennifer Marrero.
