post treatment, enter patient data into electronic medical records system,

review patients flow sheets and records for completeness, accuracy, and

compliance with regulations, compile and maintain patients records to

document condition and treatment and to provide data for research or cost

control and care improvement efforts, enter data, such as demographic

characteristics, history and extent of disease, diagnostic procedures and

treatment into the computer, and release information to persons and agencies

according to regulations, answer phones, schedule appointments, inventory of

supplies, receive lab results, other duties as directed.

Animal Clinic East 70th – Veterinarian Assistant

Basic animal care, basic animal grooming, animal restraint for various

procedures (exams, tests, vaccines), obtain samples and perform basic

lab tests, clerical duties- answer phones, put clients into exam rooms and take

a history, talk to clients about basic animal care, get together prescriptions, and

other duties as directed by the DVM.
