Performed indoor air quality sampling for a large

ductile iron pipe foundry. Communicated with

supervisors & observed employees to evaluate job tasks &

hazards. Collected & overviewed MSDS's, looked up,

reviewed, and followed OSHA & NIOSH methods and PEL

standards. Sampled for many hazards including organic

vapors, hydrocarbons, various metals, silica & dusts,

oil mists, and VOC's. Calculated TWA's and made

recommendations regarding reduction of exposures.

Performed weekly lake water sampling, inspected

perishable food vending machines, recorded information

into databases and updated MDEQ website, as well as

assisted sanitarians with many duties such as; well and
