ductile iron pipe foundry. Communicated with
supervisors & observed employees to evaluate job tasks &
hazards. Collected & overviewed MSDS's, looked up,
reviewed, and followed OSHA & NIOSH methods and PEL
standards. Sampled for many hazards including organic
vapors, hydrocarbons, various metals, silica & dusts,
oil mists, and VOC's. Calculated TWA's and made
recommendations regarding reduction of exposures.
