developing the Proficy system to monitor equipment efficiencies when Mohawk
Fine Papers purchased our division but did not want the system due to
support reasons.

I started with International Paper as an Accounting/Systems Specialist and
help develop the cost accounting system used in our facility as well as the
three other Fine Papers facilities.
I was then tasked with ensuring system accuracy in order to bid new
business for our division using the developed system. This was accomplished
by carefully monitoring the other facility cost as well as ours to insure
competitive pricing.
Involved in the implementation of the SAP System into our facility and
spent most of a summer in Westfield, Mass. learning the system to provide
training at our facility.
As the SAP Power User I trained others in the Finance Department in
Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Project Systems, Supply
Management and Cost Management.
