Alexander Automotive Group is the largest retail automotive business in
Tennessee. The group consists of 16 rooftops and 22 dealer franchises.
Revenues of the group for 2010 will exceed $450 million.
Chief Financial Officer
. Revised Treasury and cash management of the combined group. Moved to
more centralized bank relationship to maximize the cash flow for better
performing stores.
. Worked with several banks to refinance several mortgages saving over
$700,000 in interest.
. Created monthly performance reports with metrics to assist owners and
GM's manage and analyze the individual and combined financials.

2008 - 2010
United Record Pressing, LLC is the largest manufacturer of vinyl records in
the U.S. Also URP has metal plating, printing, photo retouching, and
distribution divisions. URP has annual revenue of approximately $8

various purchase accounting issues for new acquisitions in China. Also

DOANE PET CARE - Nashville, TN 1996 - 2000
Doane Pet Care (now Mars Pet Food) is the largest dry pet food
manufacturer in the United States. Annual revenue during 2000 was
approximately $860 million. Doane Pet Care has thirty-three manufacturing
facilities in the United States and Europe.
Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis
. Coordinate budget process of a $860 million dollar company, includes
three international companies (United Kingdom, Spain, and Italy) and
three domestic divisions (dry pet food, canning, and engineering).
Assist in planning for thirty-three plant locations with seven major
product lines.
. Created the "Gross Margin" analysis report, which evaluates the variance
between actual and budget selling price and major cost components
(material cost, direct labor, and overhead). The analysis explains the
affects of mix and volume differences.
. Assessed manufacturing and logistics savings of absorbing volume from two
plant closings to the existing manufacturing network. Analysis was used
to persuade customers that their volume needs could be handled more
effectively by the consolidation of production.
Assistant Controller & Interim Controller
. Assisted in the integration of payroll, cost formulation, and accounting
records. Cost formulation process was completely evaluated and
modernized.
. Negotiated $750 thousand inventory settlement with prior owners. Also
assisted in final balance sheet evaluation and negotiation.
. Supervised eighteen employees in three separate departments: accounting,

. Worked with sales department in maximizing promotional spending by
assisting in programming a promotion spending system. The software
isolated promotion programs were stimulating volume growth.
