experience in both FOH & BOH food service operations.

Selected Achievements & Skills
. Developed & implemented management software to control costs and tax
liability. At Multnomah Athletic Club I administered Food-Trac, Stratton
Warren and FAS programs, reducing taxes and manpower required for F&B
operations. Streamlined purchasing and inventory procedures reducing
waste and duplication of both effort and product.
. Managed complex capital projects, completing them on time and under
budget. In Cowlitz County I oversaw the replacement of a defunct
crematory unit with a state of the art system, managing all aspects of
the project including bidding and procurement, environmental impact
statements, permitting and construction. Also in Cowlitz County managed
a major remodeling of interior shelter facilities providing secure
housing, treatment areas and laundry facilities.
. Orchestrated turnaround of two humane societies, achieving record
placements and improved revenue. Recruited to serve as Executive Director
at both Cowlitz & Clallam County organizations, I reversed declining
donations and improved public perception for these agencies. In Clallam
County I grew a dedicated capital improvement fund from a balance of $100
to over $100,000 in less than 2 years. Developed partnerships with other
service agencies and improved facilities, programs and procedures.

property and cash totaling more than $500,000 in value
. Created donation program with local retail and foodservice

nine months
. Increased over the counter cash donations and direct mail solicitation

Summary of Food Service Qualifications
Throughout the course of my experience in the food and beverage industry I
have been fortunate to have experience many different types of operations.
This ranges from retail seafood & meat operations in grocery stores, to
order and service deli operations and outdoor festival booths, to casual
family dining, high-end formal service and catering functions of up to
several thousand guests.
I am at home in either the front or back of the house and have the ability
to step into any position required immediately. I have a proven track
record of developing strong team members who excel in the industry and are
frequently promoted to management positions.
My experience in animal sheltering has served to further hone my guest
relations skills and taught me new ways to satisfy even the most difficult
individuals.
