EXPERIENCE
August 2007 to Present, Twinbrook Assisted Living (weekends only)
Resident Caregiver to approximately 60 residents in an independent
environment. Responsibilities include answering phones, answering
questions by phone or in person, greeting/directing visitors/families,
assisting residents to dining room, delivering/picking up trays to
residents who have requested them, interacting with residents, calling
BINGO, being helpful and cheerful at all times, assisting in dressing to
those who have requested, administer med reminders, always being alert
to any alarms pulled for emergency help to residents, document incident
reports and notify family when there has been a fall/accident, call EMS
when necessary, and always showing compassion to residents at all
times.
October 2009 to November 2009, Healthcare Therapy Services, Inc.
Office Manager/Staffing Coordinator assisting the Regional Director
in scheduling therapists at the seven facilities located
throughout the Louisville area while providing the highest quality of
service to all clients. Responsibilities besides timely scheduling
were greeting the public, answering the phone in a timely manner,
assisting/answering any questions by phone where needed with courtesy,
understanding, and a sense of urgency at all times, signed for
deliveries, apprised the Regional Director of daily operations,
ordered supplies, communicating with Rehab Directors at all facilities
where coverage was provided, opened/directed mail, maintained all
office equipment, and other duties as assigned. On November 25, 2009
the Corporate Office changed the position to require an experienced
staffing coordinator. NOTE: I created this office from only a
desk and chair on my first day. I ordered all office supplies and
supervised the arrangement and installation of all office equipment in
addition to completing my duties.
March 2009 to October 2009, Sunrise Senior Living (company bought out

Life Enrichment Manager working in the Reminiscence area of community.
Twenty nine residents afflicted with Alzheimer's/dementia. I work
one-on-one with each resident according to his/her needs/abilities,
assist with activities, interact with each resident, serve lunch and
dinner including snacks during the day, and above all listening to
each one and communicating at their own level of understanding. My
main role is to involve each resident, draw them out into a social
setting, and acclimate them to people and hands-on activities.
September 2008 to December 2008, Business First
Receptionist for local weekly business newspaper. Answer multi-line
phone system, direct incoming calls, use paging system, take messages,
greet and direct visitors/vendors, sign for deliveries, process
outgoing mail and log in spreadsheet, special mailings, assist other
departments where needed.
November 2007 to April 2008, Trover Solutions (Temporary Position)
Receptionist to 500 employees in healthcare subrogation/recovery
company. Answer multi-line phone system, direct incoming calls, use
paging system, take messages, create monthly calendar for phone relief
at breaks and lunch, schedule all meetings for all employees on
computer, receive and direct employment applications, greet and direct
vendors/visitors, track office supplies, sign for deliveries, maintain
and reconcile petty cash, assist other departments where needed, work
for and with Administrative Services, and other duties as assigned.
February 2005 to March 2007, Wahlstrom Group
Receptionist/Administrative Assistant with administrative duties for
White and Yellow Pages advertising company. Answer multi-line phone
system, direct calls, greet and direct visitors, sign for deliveries,
open, stamp, and direct all incoming mail, process outgoing mail,
inventory client envelopes, run monthly print projects for all account
representatives, data entry with Excel spreadsheets, order office and
kitchen supplies, assist Account Executives with their work overload,
complete weekly projects assigned by supervisor; Microsoft Office,
Outlook, Internet, daily use of AS400 system and knowledge of its
printing capacities, made travel arrangements for Vice President,
assist librarian, maintain office equipment, prepare and mail daily
overnight packages and all outgoing mail, completing projects for all
supervisors in a timely manner, and other duties as assigned.

Data Entry/Customer Service for website home-based business working
with spouse. Responsibilities included: Data entry, filling orders,
checking on status of orders placed by outside clients, customer
service, answer all telephone inquiries, follow-up feedback for
customer satisfaction.
March 1999 to October 2000, Highlands Funeral Home
At-Need Processing Department Secretary for Management Committee,
Board, funeral directors, and embalmers. Responsibilities include:
data entry of all death calls, preparing necessary paperwork for all
public visitations, filing for social security and death certificates,
communicating with doctors, families, state employees, preparing
acknowledgement cards for families after funerals, keeping track of
timeliness in receiving certified death certificates for families,
dictation, correspondence, ordering supplies, taking minutes of weekly
staff meetings for publication, taking phone calls and messages as
needed, occasional telephone relief for receptionist on lunch break,
and other duties as assigned.
