1 Obtained managed budgeted numerous contaminated aquifer projects for Mobil Oil (PAH,
Bunker C) contaminated site adjacent to Ship Canal, Ballard Washington. Utilized
bioremediation and supervised installation of 28 groundwater monitoring wells in silt and sandy
sediments within which heaving was an impediment. Determined groundwater flow direction.
Supervised managed and budgeted numerous RI/FS studies for perched and non perched aquifers
contaminated by BTEX, LNAPL and DNAPL
2 Mobil Oil, Exxon, Unocal, and Chevron Oil. Designed and supervised design of injection
wells for remediation. Designed and conducted aquifer stress tests. Determined groundwater
flow direction.
3 General Electric Lighting, Nela Park Ohio. Obtained, managed and supervised EA and
installation of multiply screened monitoring wells at GE lighting factory, Valencia Venezuela.
Teamed with Mexican and Venezuelan Engineering companies in order to maintain project
cultural and personnel well being. Contaminants in aquifer included Hg, solvents (DNAPL),
7
alcohol and PAH. Determined groundwater flow direction.
4 Halliburton (Cooper, Oil Tool) Mexico City. Obtained, managed and supervised EA and
installation of multiply screened monitoring wells at drill bit hardening facility. Contaminant
included CR 6+. Determined groundwater flow direction.
5 Master Card, NYC. Obtained, managed and supervised RI/FS for DNAPL
(tetrachloroethylene) contaminated aquifer at a high volume dry cleaner, Seatac WA.
Determined groundwater flow direction and vinyl chloride plume. Obtained closure from
Washington State Department of Ecology.
6 Port of Seattle, Seatac International Airport. Assisted with jet fuel leakage upon baggage in 40
foot underground baggage tunnel. Cleanup consisted of multiple wells through 5 foot concrete
and 40 foot compacted runway fill.
