- Present

Flight Services and Systems, Inc is primarily an airline/airport specific

staffing company. Currently residing in 34 different airports across the

United States. Flight Services provides ticket counter agents, document

verification, ground handling, wheelchair assistance and cleaning services

to over 75 different customers. Revenues for 2009 were 25 million.

Assist ownership with the day to day management of the company. Negotiated

all banking, financing and insurance relationships. Managed the month-end

closing process from 10 days down to four days to allow for timelier

reporting to airport agencies. I have 8 direct reports and 25 indirect

reports (includes Station Managers and Administrative Personnel), I direct

the key functions of accounting department as well as the year-end audit

process. Currently utlizing Great Plains Dynamics accounting software to

report results.. 2009 audited results were nearly identical to the actual

Net Income reported at December 31, 2009.

Challenge: Increase cash flow and profitability while growing the core

business by reducing workers compensation costs and getting better

utilization of every man hour at all locations.

Action: Initiated training programs and schedule enforcement through Kronos

clock software to reduce overtime by 50%. Institued safety committees at

every location to drive down the workers compensation claims which saved

over $80,000 in 2009. As a result of better internal processes, switched to

a high deductible workers compensation plan to save 200,000 in 2010 year.

> Results: Increased gross revenues by 10%, decreased costs by 55%,

increase to the bottom line by over 75%.

Corporate Controller, TL Express, Inc. 2007 -

2009

TL Express is primarily a flatbed, step deck & van carrier. With 300

trucks (company and owner operators) and 25 active agents, TL Express'

primary operations are focused in Mid Atlantic, Mid South and East and West

coast regions of the U.S. and Canada.

Assist with the day-to-day operations of this 70 million dollar truckload

carrier. I manage a budget of $25.5 million and report results of

operations to ownership. I have 8 direct and 300+ indirect reports

(includes agents and owner operators), I direct the key functions of

accounting department.

Challenge: increase cash flow and grow the core business with no

significant increase in rolling assets in an environment of declining

demand and rising fuel prices.

Action: initiated lease purchase program which increased equipment

utilization by over 32% and boosted cash flow by 150,000 per month.

> Results: Increased gross revenues by 45%, decreased costs by 24%,

increase to the bottom line by over 50%.

Corporate Controller, Aetna Freight Lines, Warren, OH. 2005

- 2007

Aetna is primarily a flatbed, step deck & van carrier. With 128 trucks

(all owner operators) and 38 active agents, Aetna's primary operations are

focused in Mid Atlantic, Mid South and East coast regions of the U.S. and

Canada. Aetna is a division of the Transport Investment Family of

Companies.

Assisted with the day-to-day operations. Full P&L responsibility. Managed

a budget of $16.5 million. Report results of operations to ownership with

the General Manager. With 3 direct and 180 indirect reports (includes

agents and owner operators), I directed the key functions of accounting. I

also was chosen to be on the Accounting Committee as well as the

Information Technology Committee's. The committees were responsible for

driving change and efficiency within the company.

Corporate Controller, Insulated Glass Specialties

2000 - 2005

IGS was a family owned insulated glass manufacturer in the Youngstown, OH

area. The product produced was primarily a double pane glass unit with a

spacer between to provide superior energy efficiency. This product was

then sold to Window manufacturers to place in their window frames to be

sold in the retail home improvement market.

Utilized previous knowledge of freight industry to save $250 thousand per

year and deliver

better customer service and reduce labor costs by 5 per cent to increase

profitability.

Responsible for financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, accounts

receivable, accounts payable, payroll and human resources.

Negotiated company health, liability, property and casualty insurance for

a savings of 20 % annually.

Developed and analyzed weekly cash flow reports, profit forecast and

budget variances to determine which customers were contributing the most

to the bottom line.

Accounting Analyst Falcon Transport

1997- 2000

Falcon Transport is primarily a flatbed and van carrier. Falcon operates a

fleet of more than 1,200 power units with 48 state authority, and with

main lanes of operation focused from Texas to the East Coast. Falcon

Transport employs close to 1,200 drivers and owner operators, and

currently operate and maintain 46 terminals and 25 parking facilities

Participated in ISO 9000 registration. One of a two-man team who

documented the Lansing operation for a successful certification which

allowed the company to secure the $30 million GM contract.

Supervised over 30 employees in the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable

and Billing departments.

Instrumental in the winning bid process for the GM Lansing Car Assembly

plant for the Falcon third party logistics provider, Comprehensive

Logistics
