SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Hired and trained two summer interns for a Controller position. Directed

their document imaging efforts as applied to creating Standardized

Controller computer programs, and the creation of Monarch models for

financial reports and income statements. Results: The company derived over

$100 K annual savings by eliminating the expense of paper print-outs in

these applications.

Organized and directed the first major Pursuit of Excellence meeting

presented to all Controllers within a Fortune 100 Textile Company. This 3-

day meeting emphasized Peer to Peer comparative score auditing and

information sharing. Results: Recognized by top management and Controllers

for presenting one of the most impacting meetings in the history of the

company.

Developed and implemented an innovative plan to eliminate internal late

deliveries of circular knit fabric in order to improve efficiencies and

increase overall production. Established teams to brainstorm and flowchart

all operations in the production department using kaizan methodologies.

Results: Achieved two successive years of zero (0) late deliveries, and

improved process reliability from 89% to 92% in a single year.

Developed and implemented weekly meetings designed to actively involve

style changers and planning leaders in the process of scheduling machinery

for style changes. Result: This proactive involvement of labor in the

production process promoted conflict resolution, significantly helped

reduce work place stress and tension among associates, and improved morale

from 89% to 97% on the Associate Attitude Survey.

Orchestrated a team of management and production associates to redevelop

inventory control procedures that were routinely overstated and reflected

out of control variances. Results: Eliminated $250K variances per quarter

by correcting overstated package weights, improving counting procedures,

and educating inventory teams.

Tightened, monitored, and reduced cost on the fixed budget by at least 2%

or more each year. The company saved $120M per year for three successive

years.

Led the JIPM initiative of 5S Leader for Hatch and "Best in the Company"

for four successive years. Successfully reorganized Hatch within a year of
