As a Wal-mart associate, I have done several different jobs over the

8 years that I have been with the company. I started off as a loss

prevention associate in the store. I was responsible for keeping theft of

merchandise down to a minimum and maintaining all security cameras and

closed circuit TV's. I have worked in several different departments and as

a front end cashier. During the last few holiday seasons I have also

worked at the Customer Service Desk assisting customers in everything from

finding where certain items are in the store to filing claims for stolen

checks and purses. While at the Service Desk I would handle a minimum of

$6,000 of cash in a day, not including the various credit and check

transactions. Operated the Moneygram machine and handled money orders

using the required programs on the computer and recording the data.

Currently I am an inventory control specialist and work third-shift full-

time. I manage the inventory for the general merchandise side of the store.

I was employed as a loss prevention associate. While employed at the

data center I monitored closed circuit televisions and cameras, monitored

various computer stacks for NCR, and escorted maintenance and other

personnel with the appropriate clearance onto the floor. Preventive

maintenance was performed routinely on the cameras, equipment, and

monitors.

Income tax preparer- After taking a certified three month tax course I

became a tax preparer for any and all military and retired military

personnel on base. As a tax preparer I did all returns from the 1040EZ

to the 1040 long forms. Upon doing the tax returns I would have to know

which information would apply to each form and what the individual could

apply for and receive as a refund from the IRS. Also knowledge of other

states laws involving the military and state taxes.

1/99 - 10/00 - United States Marine Corps

Military ambulance driver- I safely transported injured personnel from

the field to the desired naval hospital. I also was in charge of keeping

my vehicle and other vehicles in top condition. These involved weekly

checks of the entire vehicle from top to bottom, performing any minor

maintenance that was needed such as changing oil, tires, replacing worn

straps, belts, or other equipment that was necessary. Also getting the

vehicle to the mechanics before any major problems arose.

Motor Vehicle Operator - responsibilities included transporting troops,

military equipment, supervising the loading and unloading of my vehicle.

Weekly and daily maintenance was performed on my vehicle along with other

vehicles. Maintenance included changing the oil, changing tires, and

changing any other fluids, belts, or canvas tarps that needed to be taken

care of.
