Since 2006, provided full-time support to the State of Florida's NPDES
Stormwater Regulatory Program under contract to the Florida Department of
Environmental Protection. Served as Task Lead for Notice Processing and
Hotline Operation. SAIC processed Notices of Intent (permit applications)
and Notices of Termination from applicants seeking coverage or termination
under the NPDES Stormwater Construction Generic Permit, Multi-Sector
Generic Permit, and No Exposure Certifications.
o Coordinate operation of the Florida NPDES Stormwater Notices Center,
which includes the following responsibilities: ensuring the support
staff (up to 6) maintains a high quality call center; providing
technical assistance and NPDES program information to the public;
ensuring NPDES program compliance of notice processing; and ensuring
maintenance of databases according to contractual obligations with a
high degree of data quality.
o Manage staffing schedules to ensure the Notices Center Hotline is
consistently staffed from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily to assist up to 400
Hotline callers per month.
o Manage the filing system for thousands of Program files, including
file creation, maintenance, tracking, file termination and archiving.
o Commended by the client for quickly resolving production and quality
problems upon taking over the position as task lead.
o Ensure quality of service to the client after staffing reductions were
