industrial and municipal water, wastewater, remediation and solid waste
treatment systems to over 150 facilities.
( Assist the Human Resources Director in the HR management of 600
exempt/non-exempt employees in the United States and Canada, including
non-union and union sites over multiple locations.

candidate sourcing activities including screening applications and

facility. Provides services to Honda and Nissan with joint ventures to
Lear Corporation and Johnson Controls. Human Resources Generalist duties
included:
( Sole HR responsibility for a total of 115 non-union employees; 50
salaried and 65 hourly general labor workers. Staff count grew from 40
to 115 people during time of employment. Reported directly to the
President.
( Managed all screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates
throughout the company, as well as, offer negotiations, wage and salary
administration, and new employee orientation.
( Administered and made decisions on all benefit plans, including
medical, dental, vision, COBRA, life insurance, disability insurance and
401(k).
( Monitored all immigration issues for our parent company Japanese
expatriates including visa and I-94 extensions/renewals, as well as,
assist other visa holders (student and professionals) with miscellaneous
forms and filings.
( Performed all monthly Japanese and bi-weekly American payroll
processing. Processed all monthly, quarterly, and annual Federal, State
(Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, Tennessee), and City (Detroit, Pontiac)
