Team design and engineering for improving new and refurbished million
dollar Food and Beverage machine equipment. Devices implemented such as
Kinetix servo drives and PowerFlex Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), laser
measurement and detection, photo optic detection, ultrasonic sensors,
wireless and standard input and output communication devices, Ethernet
communications both wireless and standard, pressure and flow control of
air, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, varying temperature, fluid level and flow
for both caustic and consumable liquids, volumetric control and metering of
liquids, motion control of linear and rotational devices with precision
location, speed and direction, high speed detection and counters, solenoid
actuators, vision camera interpretation and selection, vibration sensing
and interpretation, lubrication control of mist, oil, grease, object
orientation and sorting. Interface communications and control through
programming custom control systems. Finalizing complete construction and
installation with tuning, timing and if required, intense diagnostic
problem solving. Follow up to in-house construction and on-site completion
through modem interface and availability for the customer.
MOELLER ELECTRIC CORPORATION
Engineer (2000 - 2006)
Co-operative engineering of the Safety Lockout System (SLS) initially
developed for Proctor & Gamble by uniting Pilz Safety Relays with Moeller
Electric Motor Control Centers (MCC) and Custom Control Panels (CCP),
Magnetic Contactors and Industrial Control Products for the satisfactory
compliance of IEC/EN 60204-1 clause 5.3 and 5.5 to replace a device for
disconnecting electrical equipment. This Safety Component according to the
definition of the Machinery Directive 98/37/EC fulfills the requirements of
category 4 according to EN 954-1.
Visual Basic programming in Microsoft Excel to expedite Purchase Order
process, establishing Master BOM and Vendor lists for price comparisons and
Minimum Required Inventory.
Implementation of P&B Engineering Visionary system and Hall Effect sensors
in coordination with Moeller Programmable Relays to offer remote MCC
control with WonderWare. This Motor Control Center was built for Rolls
Royce to be included in their construction of off-shore oil and gas
collection facilities, where such facilities as Exxon would require 95% or
greater efficiency.
