"normalization" condition. the project included field inspection, hydraulic
modeling and issuance of a study report.
Exxon/Mobil Industrial WWTP, Houston, Texas. Project Manager for a study
and evaluation of the proposed treatment process for an industrial
wastewater site at a chemical manufacturing facility. The evaluation
included reviewing the proposed treatment methodology, determining the
preliminary physical layout and land requirements for the treatment
facility, determining the requirements, and evaluating bidding and
construing options to meet a tight schedule for construction of the
project.
Sewer Lines Replacement, Ajo, Arizona: Project Manager for a master
planning study. Tasks preformed included field inspections of every manhole
on the existing sanitary sewer system, including depths, directions, and
area conditions which may limit replacement design, reviewed sewer video
inspections of the existing system, developed a hydraulic model of the
existing system to determine areas which are undersized or contain combined
laterals, developed a hydraulic model of the proposed system including
design demands, proper routing and sizing.
New Sanitary Pump Station, Ajo Arizona: Project Manager for the design of
a 1,600-gallon per minute pumping station. The pump station will be located
at the existing wastewater treatment facility and pump all of the
wastewater flows generated in the city. The new station consists of a
precast concrete wet well with pumps in a separate dry pit. The design
included all interconnecting piping, site improvements, and coordinating
the design of the control and electrical systems.
CSXT Cumberland Yard WWTP Upgrades, Cumberland Maryland: Project Manager
for the design of piping and pump station modifications for an industrial
pre-treatment plant at a railroad locomotive maintenance and repair
facility. The project included modifying two existing pump station to
replace existing fixed pumps with removable submersible pumps, replacement
of process piping, and coordination of structural and electrical design
improvements.

to the suction side of a pump that supplies reclaimed water to an
irrigation distribution system. One change was an emergency connection to
the facility's fire line system, including piping and a pressure-reducing
valve (PRV). The other piping change involved cutting into the floor of
the chlorine contact basin and installing a mud valve and connection to the
suction pipe that runs beneath the basin.
