being the ultimate self starter and being known for being committed to solving problems

communications company caused Coaches Aid to result in downsizing from being

represented in all 50 states to only 1 state, thus trimming the personnel by 90%, which

included me being laid off as of November 2009.

In this position, my self starter skills were used to package and broker several different

loans. With my gifted and talented interpersonal skills, I developed relationships with

lending institutions and in some cases “hard money” individuals in order to send them

loan request that had been originated for the possible funding or and/or the acquisition of

a business venture. In some cases, my organized and responsible project management

in other countries via satellite, assistant to the CEO and due diligence officer for

packages submitted to lending institutions. Eventually, the corporate office was relocated

overseas and “Post 9 11” wasn’t an attractive move for me, so I resigned and stayed in

Oklahoma.

Jan. 2002 Jan. 2003 Conseco Finance Addison, Tx. Sr. Loan Officer

For the mortgage division at this company, I originated and closed loans for the current

customers in every division and performed the functions associated with the residential

mortgage loan process for FHA/VA, Conventional & Mobil Home loans. In November

2002, the company made US history by filing the 3rd largest bankruptcy filing ever and

eventually closed that division for good by February 2003.

Jan. 2001 – Jan. 2002 Capital Resources Fin. Arlington, Tx. Director of Finance

This was a “middle man” office that matched automobile borrowers with the autos of

their choice for either purchasing or leasing options. My responsible skills in loan

origination allowed me to appropriate the type of loan request and secure financing or

leasing products through verified lending institutions and based on customers credit

profile. Unfortunately, after the 9 11 attacks, the automobile purchasing and leasing

markets went to a standstill and the office had to close its doors for too long of a period of

time for me to wait around.

Jan. 1999 – Jan. 2001 V.T. Enterprises Arlington, Tx. Director of Finance

Upon the completion of my certified F/I degree from the Van Tuyl School of Finance &

Insurance, along with working as an intern, I was initially offered this position utilizing

my self starter skills to develop and implement a program to a group of banks that would

be dedicated to the funding of automobile loan request to marginal credit customers on

high end vehicles. After successfully doing so at many of this dealership group’s high end

owned dealerships, I was offered a final position as the group’s director of finance,

traveling to their various locations to perform problem solving type duties of closing

loans and matching customers with lenders to fund automobile loan request. After

building a home and the birth of my newborn daughter, having to travel weekly just

wasn’t working out within my family. So I resigned from the group.

As the sister company to Consumer Portfolio Services, who was auto loan lender to

franchise dealerships nationwide, this company served as auto loan lender to the

credit reports; scoring and rating overall credit scenarios; evaluating risk and utilizing

creative skip tracing techniques were all used as my personal skill sets in preparation for

my final promotion as Director of Credit and Collections. Unfortunately, stockholders

decided that the value of the stock in the company wasn’t worth the ROI ultimately

decided to close the doors to SAMCO at the end of 1998.

Jan. 1995 – Aug. 1996 Jayhawk Accpt. Corp. Dallas, Tx. Regional Dir. of Finance

This lending institution financially backed automobile dealerships nationwide with the

ability to finance their own customers with a turn key package from the initial loan

origination to the receivables collected on the back end. My self starting role was to

identify potential dealerships, manage and train the CEO or dealership principle owner,

along with their staff on the day to day operation and fundamentals of our financing

program, in addition to hosting that group when they flew into the Dallas office for such

training. Unfortunately, the receivables on the back end superseded the fees collected on

the front end and the company had to close its doors and file for bankruptcy protection.

Dec. 1993 – Jan. 1995 Reliant Mortgage Corp. Dallas, Tx. Sr. Loan Officer

Upon my completion of the certified training courses for FHA/VA/Conventional &

Unconventional loan originating, I earned a permanent position with this company where

I utilized my organizational and interpersonal skills to originate mortgage loan request

from a weekly radio show that this company was known for statewide. Eventually, the

market hit a 30yr high as far as interest rates and 11 of the 12 offices were closed and

staff was downsized and I was included in the lay offs.

May 1992 – Nov. 1993 BGB Finance, Inc. Dallas, Tx. Dir. Of Operations

This was a finance company that was owned by the nations 4th largest Mazda dealership

in the nation (Big Billy Barrett), where I utilized my creative and self starting skills to

maximize customer potential by introducing the financing of (in house) the turned down

customers trying to purchase new/used vehicles. I utilized the traded in vehicles by

collecting the ACV (Actual Cash in Vehicle) in the form of a down payment from the

originally turned down customer, thus creatively allowing them to restore their credit by

making payments to our office on a weekly or bi weekly basis. My lending operations

skill sets were utilized daily to fulfill these tasks either by myself or managing others to

perform them. Although the profits exceeded projections and collections were at a .02%

delinquency, the owner’s eventually decided their image was too high of importance to

accept the types of customers that were attracted to their dealership location and because

of the service that office provided, thus closing the operation and allowing those future

customers to go down the street to their competition.
