training, as well as firing which includes documentation, coach and
counsels, warnings, then termination of employment. Also included are
scheduling, daily revenue reports, P & L statements, maintaining the
swimming pool, housekeeping, maintenance and problem solving. As the Sales
Manager, my duties include

sector. My job included selling newspaper advertising to a list of pre-
existing clients, as well as finding new clients many of whom didn't
realize the effectiveness of consistent advertising. I sold ads in the
"Special Sections" of the newspaper. I sold internet ads on
mywesttexas.com. I was responsible for getting tickets turned in on time
and recording inches to be reserved for my ads.

While employed with Mr. Gatti's, I was in charge of the group
sales/marketing of two Mr. Gatti's restaurants, which entailed keeping the
pre existing business as well as bringing new business into the
restaurants. I sought school groups, sports groups, churches and corporate
businesses such as Conoco Phillips, Basic Energy, TOM CAT USA and Midland
Memorial Hospital to take advantage of the meeting spaces we provided. I
implemented new Team Building events into both stores.
I also took charge of the public relations portion which entailed issuing
press releases to all news stations, radio stations and newspapers
regarding upcoming events such as toy drives, Library Nights and summer
events. I organized events such as fundraisers, blood drives, company
incentive parties and holiday events.
*Exceeded Sales Goals. Received top two awards, competing
against 14 stores, for biggest sales increases over prior year,
raising group sales 33% and 35%.
