An international retail mail order and internet company with revenues of
over $250,000,000 The company has multiple brands including Walter Drake,
The Home Marketplace, Exposures Online, Easy Comforts, As We Change, and
Miles Kimball Candies.
Senior Network Administrator (2008-2010)
Managed all aspects of the Network and Infrastructure for the Miles Kimball
Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN)
. Saved the company over $200,000 by upgrading the network using the latest
best practices, utilizing VMware and a combination of company employees
and outside vendors. This allowed the company to save the cost of buying
a replacement unit for each server that was at end of life.
. Ensured the company's enterprise resource planning software, Dynamics AX,
could meet expected business demand. Identified servers in the production
environment, determined the correct configuration and implemented the
solution before rush season.
. Trained new Network Administrators while keeping the LAN/WAN environment

documentation and training, brought the new network administrators up to
