EXPERIENCE
ArgonSt: Test Engineer

Utilizing my extensive testing and fabricating skills, I was tasked
with creating test fixtures, racks and boxes aiding in the development
and troubleshooting, to component level in support of the CRIIS RPI
program, which has developed a GPS-based wireless position reporting
system. Using LabView, I was a key member in test automation and
validation for RF communications, setup, configure, and operate test
setups, fixtures, and instrumentation as required by test plans, test
standards, and customer instructions. I conducted site inspections
verifying compliance of build details at the contract manufacturing
companies building the prototype CCAs. Using Mentor Graphics/PADS, I
provided electronic design automation verifications. Using Visio, I
created build and wiring diagrams, and bills of material for the
project. I was also tasked with procuring test equipment and
maintaining the lab.
Palomar Display Products: Manufacturing/Test Engineer
3/2006-6/2008
A military sub-contractor specializing in CRT based vision and
targeting systems used in track and wheeled fighting vehicles. We
provide extensive work in EMI and environmental qualification testing,
including MIL-STD's 461 and 810. My duties included but were not
limited to the following: Specify, review or select fixtures, tools,
test equipment to perform specific process; perform root cause
analysis and implement corrective actions; maintain or create
drawings, BOM's, travelers across assigned product lines; provide
technical training and guidance to production personnel; initiate,
review and approve all ECN/ECO/ECR change requests on all products;
developed qualification test procedures to MIL-STD requirements and
customer specifications; performed off site testing at approved
laboratories to certify overall compliance; engineering, technical
support during start up and troubleshooting on new products; develop
and document test stations and processes increase productivity from
manual test and provide recurring engineering support on legacy
products.

CarrierComm is a leading provider of point-to-point voice and data
transmission technology that enables products with speeds from 16 Mbps
to 311 Mbps and covering the 3.5 - 38 GHz frequency bands. Its end-
user customers include major telecommunications service providers and
OEMs delivering equipment to these providers. I was responsible for
testing the functionality of their products (both hardware and
software). Mainly the tools were Java SE and Linux based, plus I have
used debugger (again Java), for code writing, testing and debugging of
the radios.

I supervised twenty technicians and manage the production workflow;
created troubleshooting and testing procedures; worked closely with
test and sustaining engineers to ensure the proper training of the
technicians; attended and provided feedback at the daily production
meetings; ensured all administrative work is completed and submitted
to the proper personnel; and provided fault analysis matrixes for the
pertinent Program Managers.
