EXPERIENCE

Oct 2006 to Present: George Group/Accenture, Federal Services Division, 4350 Fairfax Drive, Suite 500, Arlington,

VA 22203. Current: Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belt instructor for the United States Postal Service. Prior:

Technical Director – Army Schoolhouse responsible for alignment, management and execution of all Green, Black

and Master Black Belt training for U.S. Army military and civilian personnel for the single, largest deployment of

Lean Six Sigma in history. Senior Consultant responsible for conducting Lean Six Sigma (Green and Black Belt)

training on a world wide basis. To-date personally trained over 200 Black Belts, 800 Green Belts and 100 senior

leadership (LSS Champions/Sponsors) as well as developed curricula for Green, Black, Master Black Belt and

executive training. As Technical Director had direct oversight and management of 14 Group Group/Accenture

Master Black Belt instructors, 10 contract / associate Master Black Belt instructors and two administrative support

personnel involving, on average, the conducting of nine (9) Lean Six Sigma classes per week.

Jan 2005 to Oct 2006: Honeywell, # 7 Frankford Avenue, Building 146, Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL 36201.

Assigned by Honeywell via Department of Defense directive as Master Black Belt to provide Lean and Six Sigma

training, coaching, mentoring and leadership to the Depot repair and overhaul Lean Teams in support of $1.4B

contract to improve reliability and durability of Honeywell manufactured AGT1500 turbine engine which powers

the Abrams tank. During tenure was responsible for oversight of 40+ Rapid Improvement Events and/or projects

resulting in over $14M in savings as well as personally trained, coached and mentored over 50 Lean Green Belts.

Sep 2002 to Jan 2005: Piedmont Aviation Component Services, 1041 East Mountain Street, Building 320,

Kernersville, NC 27284. Senior Operations Analysis responsible for combination of Financial analysis and

budgeting for all operations and Continuous Process improvement. Joined this organization as a temporary

employee and hired full time. Held position to obtain medical benefits until employment at experience and

compensation level became available. During tenure completed process improvements resulting in over $700K in

savings on $18M annual sales volume.

Mar 1981 to Sep 2002: Gilbarco Veeder Root, Inc., 7300 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro, NC 27410. Held positions

ranging from financial cost accounting manager, senior operations manager to continuous improvement executive

manager. As manufacturing Senior Operations Manager was responsible for all assembly and sub-assembly

manufacturing for world’s largest producer of petroleum dispensing equipment with direct responsibility for

management of a 400 direct employee and 280 indirect employee work force with $600M P&L responsibility.

During tenure supported, via leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring over 100 Kaizen / Kaizen Blitz activities and

over 40 projects resulting in excess of $46M in total worldwide savings. Established training curricula for Kaizen,

Kaizen Blitz as well as trained, coached and mentored over 200 personnel in JIT, Lean and Six Sigma applications.

Company sold in 2002 and executive and senior management replaced by new ownership.

Mar 1977 to Mar 1981: Kimberly Clark Corp, 400 Mahannah Street, Memphis TN (facility closed and relocated

to Paris, TX) Held positions of Cost Analyst, Supervisor Internal Control and Supervisor of Cost Analysis
