Construction Project Management skills:
1.Supervise staff, including: establishing and communicating performance
expectations, providing positive and constructive feedback, determining
training and development needs and conducting on-the-job training. Conduct
Career Development Reviews. May make hiring, discipline and/or termination

2. Actively participates in Market Sector(s) business development efforts

multiple projects involving multiple estimating personnel, Owners, City and
Architect/Engineers.
16. Maintains a professional relationship with external customers, owners,

Project Directors to develop, maintain and influence the selection of
agencies.
17. Can direct and manage design phase meetings.
18. Ensures the files of ongoing projects such as; Bid Book, Addenda, Bid
Documents, and/or Preconstruction Guide; are maintained on projects that
are assigned.
19. Reviews bid inquiries, particularly those of a more technical and
specialized nature. Negotiate and award subcontractors and purchase order
agreements with subcontractors/vendors for early involvement in design
build or design assist commitments. Continuously monitors scope and budget
of selected subcontractors throughout design phase.
20. Monitors the purchasing plan to ensure subcontracts are being produced
in accordance with the project schedule.
21. Primary responsibility for preparation, review and input of the data to
be used in our historical cost database.
22. Participates in an active review and exchange of information process
with operations for all current projects. Maintains contact with operations
personnel during construction to act as a resource for scope and cost
control.
23. Develops and maintains relationships with the Principals at key
Subcontractors, Architectural and Engineering firms for business
development purposes.
