Piece Pick Department Manager
* Managed the Piece Pick department with staff of 75 full time and
temporary associates.
* Staffed employees in the proper zones based on the picking required for
each specific customer. Required constant shuffling of personnel from one
area to the next, based on total picks per zone.
* Monitored employee productivity rates, and coached employees that were
not meeting company standards.
* Performed QC checks to ensure that all product met customer and company
standards.

Production Manager
* Responsible for the Production Department (dough making). All dough was
made from scratch and prepared for shipping to stores.
* Supervised eight hourly employees, and monitored productivity rates to
ensure company standards were being maintained.
* Hands on position that required me to be on the floor over 90% of the
time.
* Streamlined processes to decrease overtime. Upon arriving, employees were
working, on average, 20 hours a week of overtime. This resulted in a weekly
savings of $880, and an annual savings in labor of almost $46,000
FedEx Logistics @ Sun Micro Systems Fremont, CA
Temporary Associate Supervisor
* FedEx Logistics was contracted with Sun Microsystems to process and ship
all of the customer orders for computers.
* Responsible for 75 temporary associates that performed picking of all
computer hardware. Product as small as microprocessors, to as large as
mainframe towers.
* Monitored and assisted all employees during their shift to ensure all
product was picked and placed properly. Trained new employees as they
arrived for their initial shift.
* This position required me to be on the floor 100% of the time,
interacting with the employees.
Burnham Service Corporation San Jose, CA
Operations Manager
* Burnham was a third party logistics provider that was contracted with
Pitney Bowes to install and train end users on the Pitney Bowes mailing
equipment.
* Burnham provided this service in both Northern and Southern California. I
was the Operations Manager in Northern California, encompassing San Jose,
Oakland, San Francisco, and Sacramento.
* Responsible for the staff of service representatives in the field, as
well as the office staff. Had to ensure each field rep was fully trained,
and capable of performing the required daily workload.
* Coordinated the installation and training with end customer, and provided
feedback to the sales personnel.
* Had to multi task to be able to handle and customer emergencies that
might emerge on any given work day.
* Decreased total backlog from over a month, to within three days after one
month at the location. This was a result of prioritizing workload based on
completing oldest work first.
