Established consulting company to provide HR expertise and support to
clients in the automotive parts supply industry. Key Projects include:
. Directed US and International HR for client during the sale of the
division. Established HR strategy and guided employee relations during
uncertain period while ensuring continued quality product supply to
customer.
. As client to Hope Global, assisted in consolidation of European
operation. Developed strategy to successfully close two European
facilities, source and recommend new production site in low cost country,
and start up new operation. Developed overall HR strategy, guidelines
and policy, made salary and pay recommendations, recruited and staffed
operation, established training, safety and related programs while
meeting all company and customer objectives.

the names of Schlegel Corporation, BTR Automotive, and currently named
Henniges Automotive.
(1997 - 2006) Director, Human Resources - Schlegel Carolina, Special
Products Division
Special Products Division manufactured wire and polyester reinforcements
used in weather seal extrusion industry.
Managed North American and European HR and Administrative functions during
period of changing markets, significant cost and competitive pressures and
industry consolidation. Substantially improved employee relations,
communications and employee participation yielding stable margins in
profitability in a declining market. Formulated labor strategy and
negotiated union contracts within budget, provided for increased
