Marketing Consultant: I target and collaborate with small businesses. I deliver
comprehensive overviews and strategic recommendations for organizations with little or
no marketing departments. Offerings include: competitive analysis, strategic planning,
and project management.
Adjunct Faculty (Salt Lake Community College): Design and teach English
composition courses that emphasis media and communications. I bring my
educational background and career experience into the classroom to effectively
present and instruct students on issues related to media, advertising, communications,
design, and business writing.
2007 – 2009 Rivet Global (Div. of DraftFCB) San Francisco, CA
ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR
Rivet Global is a full service advertising agency whose clients include Splenda, Nokia,
Jim Beam, and Visa. Responsibilities included managing the client relationships
associated with the day-to-day, and overall strategic, supervision of several Visa
promotional marketing programs involving the following channels: direct mail, email,
websites, CD-ROMs, inbranch, and print.
Account lead on Visa’s Retail Branch National Promotion ($5 million plus budget) – a multi-
channel promo with over 140 components including POS, direct mail, interactive content, etc.
Participation in the promotion more than doubled under my management.
Managed and defined vision for B2B and B2C initiatives including campaigns for Visa
Signature and Visa payWave. Received special recognition for developing inspiring creative
briefs that effectively guide project development.
Participate in new business presentations to clients. E.g. led a pitch on an account
that the agency won resulting in a projection of $1.5 million in agency revenue.
Managed several lead generating and loyalty direct mail campaigns, including several multi-
variable DM packages. Consistently outperformed client goals and exceeded industry
averages for response rates.
Provided effective/timely communications to agency staff, clients, and outside suppliers and
partners including; letter-shop, fulfillment house, interactive and translation agencies, etc.
Led and coordinated weekly meetings to ensure all cross-functional teams and agency
partners were collaborating effectively. Managed and provided guidance to AE’s and Senior
AE’s.

SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Response is a full-service agency specializing in Direct and loyalty Marketing. As part of
the Response team, my clients included: Altius Health Plans, Intermountain Healthcare,
Comfort Systems U.S.A, Zions Bank and Wells Fargo
Worked with senior staff to build estimates, budges and briefs. Was rapidly promoted from
AE to Senior AE where I maintained daily contact with clients to ensure projects were
completed on time, on strategy and on budget.
Developed an advanced understanding of traditional media, particularly direct mail where I
was the project lead on everything from dimensional mailers to multi-variable test-and-learn
campaigns.
Intimately involved in all aspects of client relations; operated as liaison between client and
the agency, agency partners and vendors.
Key player in agency new business development initiatives. Participated in designing and
delivering new business pitches that resulted in new accounts with Comfort Systems and
Altius Health Plans.
