Professional Experience

WSU Hillside Diner, August May of the 2008/09, 2009/10, and 2010/11 school years.

Cashier: I assist customers, run the cash register, and keep the area clean, restocked, and looking

great. This is my third year at the position, and I am really going to miss the people; coworkers and

customers alike.

Dish Washer: The Diner has a very large dish machine into which I place relatively cleaned dishes and

they come out at the other side sparkling. For the most part of the shift, there are generally no dishes to

be washed, so I function as a floater. I walk around and help anyone who looks like they could use it,

particularly resupply. In the last half hour, the dishes come in all at once and we are flying in that back

room.

Manager: Cindy Colmbs 509-***-****

Twin Springs Farm, June August of 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010

Orchard Worker: This is a summer job with several ranging duties related to almost every aspect of

peach cultivation and growth. The last few years I was a group leader during thinning. At the orchard

we thin, pick, and pack peaches. We work on tall fruit ladders, through the heat of our blistering Eastern

Washington summers. We also deal with bees, moles, and other wildlife threatening the crop.
