Supervised the nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) training of 150-200
personnel in my regiment. Insured the annual NBC requirements were met by
each individual.
Conducted classes on detection of NBC agents, protection, and personnel and
equipment decontamination. Led soldiers through mock drills to instill
confidence in themselves and their equipment.
Inspected the NBC supply rooms and training logs of the three on-post
companies and the 3 out-lying companies (Fort Drum, New York, Fort Stewart,
Georgia, and Fort Campbell, Kentucky) in the regiment.
Consolidated four NBC supply rooms into one, making it more accessible,
more efficient, and more easily accountable. Reduced the number of persons
responsible for maintenance and accountability to two, allowing the other
two to five soldiers to conduct training and participate in other missions
of the unit.
Conducted training meetings concerning NBC training, allowing each soldier
to know his/her role in completing the mission.
