SUMMARY:
Twenty-two years of progressive HR department and leadership experience,
guiding and managing the overall provision of Human Resources services,
policies, and programs for several companies, including the start up of a
Human Resources department at a brand new Medical School in Northeastern
Pennsylvania.
EXPERIENCE:

Assistant Director of Human Resources- December 2007 to Present
Twelfth employee hired at a startup Medical College. Developed HR practices
and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture.
Supervise 2 HR employees, and report to the Director of Human Resources.
Responsibilities include:
. Preparation and delivery of employee communications;
. HR web page development and maintenance;
. Budgeting, review and recommendation of benefit vendor proposals;
. Management of HRIS, directing and auditing all employee data entry;
. Approving payroll for processing;
. Managing all benefits programs including health and welfare,
retirement, voluntary benefits, health and dependent care
reimbursement accounts and employee counseling;

UGI UTILITIES, Reading PA
Oracle HR and Advanced Benefits (OAB) Consultant - May 2006 to March 2007
Successful conversion of employee/retiree data from PG Energy to UGI
utilities after UGI purchased PG Energy in 2006.
As an HR/Benefits consultant representing Acuite Consulting, I lead the
HR/Benefits conversion team for the employee/retiree data conversion from
PG Energy's Oracle HRIS system to UGI Utilities Oracle HRIS system.
Specific responsibilities:
. Reviewed current UGI Oracle HR/Advanced Benefits setup
. Provided Process Flow documents
. Contributed to Project Management Document
. Provided Project Scope documents for each new system requirement
. Built HR and Benefits requirements along with IT Technicians for
customizations
. Supervised Techs and provided direction and guidance to complete
project tasks
. Troubleshooting issues/problems as necessary
. Tested custom builds
. Converted approximately 500 employees and 500 retirees data
within Project timeline
. Generated necessary reports and verified converted data
. Worked on full implementation process of initial Self Service
Benefits Open Enrollment for all UGI and newly converted PG

SOUTHERN UNION COMPANY, Wilkes-Barre, PA
HRMS/Benefits Analyst - July 2004 to January 2006
Promotion to corporate position based on ability to learn Oracle
HR/Advanced Benefits (OAB) module, perform at consultant level, train
others, and troubleshoot problems/issues. Administration and Enrollment
of benefits for approximately 3,000 employees and 1,500 retirees
utilizing Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB). Reported to Corporate Benefits
Director. Specific accomplishments:
. Managed Oracle HR/Advanced Benefits system at the corporate
level. Supervised employees performing data entry tasks as
necessary. Directed IT internal and external technicians to
complete projects in a timely manner
. Additional division acquisition -Lead full process of
conversion of benefits which was completed June 1, 2005
. Along with Oracle Consultant, modified benefits system and
coordinated Self Service Open Enrollment for five divisions
using OAB's self service to enroll employees
. Built the retiree benefit program in OAB to enroll retirees
for five divisions
. Analyzed and corrected benefit issues resulting from the
first open enrollment process
. Managed HR module of HRIS at the corporate level when
downsized corporate HR employees attained other employment
. Trained 2 corporate benefits employees when position
transferred to Houston, Texas
PG ENERGY, a Division of Southern Union Company, Wilkes-Barre, PA
Benefits Administrator - August 2001 to July 2004
Promoted to Benefits Administrator after Company reorganization.
Assisted HR Director with additional HR projects as necessary,
responsible for HR department in Director's absence. Specific
accomplishments:
. Managed PG Energy's Benefits Department for 500 employees and
500 retirees
. Key player in the conversion of five division's employees
benefits from legacy systems to Oracle using Oracle Advanced
Benefits (OAB). Project duration: August 2003 - concluded
April 1, 2004. Attended Oracle training. Gathered data from
all divisions. Built customizations as necessary along with
Oracle Consultant
. Managed HRIS ensuring HR data was up to date and accurate for
each payroll processing
. Provided reports to management/audit as requested
