Classification Review Board Analyst (7/2007 - 10/2010)
Alabama Department of Corrections, Montgomery, AL
Senior Analyst for ADOC. Responsible to both Associate Commissioner and
Director for analyzing recommendations submitted from the
Warden/Classification Specialist for inmates eligible for community
placement. Investigate all criteria established in regulation 452 by ADOC
to ensure security level and custody is in compliance with guidelines.
Entered data in dashboard module. Successfully developed spreadsheet
using excel when program initially got started in 2007. Spreadsheet was
used by 'IT' division when module for dashboard was developed September
2010. Invaluable to ADOC by maintaining a simple philosophy of offering
solutions,delivering projects in manageable phases and enabling others to
take ownership.
Classification Specialist Supervisor (12/2000 - 7/2007)
State of Alabama Dept. of Corrections, Montgomery, AL
Administrative head of the Classification Department. Accountable for the
required training of employees in the classification division. Evaluated
employees according to performance allowing improvement during the semi-
annual phase of the evaluation. Extra tasks and duties as the supervisor
was to ensure accuracy of documentations received from other state
agencies prior to data being entered into ADOC mainframe. Ability to
delegate assigned tasks to other senior specialist(s) in the division and
entrust the tasks would be done in a timely manner. Implemented an
organized division to ensure each employee had was needed to get the job
done without struggle or stress.
Classification Specialist (6/1997 - 12/2000)
State of Alabama Dept. of Corrections, Union Springs, AL
Entry level management position handling a caseload of up to 400 medium
custody inmates at a medium security level prison. Accountable for the
files of each inmate assigned to caseload. A major strength in being a
specialist was to have the ability to gain the inmates confidence.
Consistency was the key in a successful recommendation to the parole
board or the central review board when moving an inmate to a lesser
restrictive custody and security level. The working knowleged of ADOC was
a plus and certainly enhanced the ability to do a good job.

Multi-Media Corporation, Tulsa, OK
Travelled at least 65% of the time to various states to oversee the
Indian Bingo Halls for Multi-Mega Gaming Industry. Administer the
machines setup by Multi-Media to ensure accuracy of payouts and payins.
Audit the books to ensure Multi-media received the correct percentage
established in the contract. Organized promotions to increase sales for
gaming. Made monthly appearances to enteract with customers playing Mult-
Media machines. Verified jackpots prior to payouts.
Mega Bingo Sales Representative (5/1991 - 12/1993)
Poarch Creek Bingo Palace, Atmore, AL
Customer Service representative. Actually responsible for the operation
of the Mega Bingo Game conducted by satellite at the Bingo Hall. Balanced
sales nightly and consistently passed audits of $10,000 or more without
error. Accountable for payouts and verified identification prior to
payouts.
