Foundry Moder/ Quality Assurance

As a Foundry Molder, I had to mold hot sand to different

types of castings, and different shapes and sizes so that

when the hot sand forms in the patterns it can be poured in

different parts.

Dual 4000 lb. electric induction furnace.

Induction furnaces ensure consistent quality of

molten metal.

Manufactured the Dews' Dredge Pump

as well as a wide range of other replacement

wear parts.

Computer controlled metallurgy and sand

testing. I help supply a complete line of castings for

highways,municipal,and marine construction.

Patterns and pattern design service can be provided on any

casting requirements.

I also worked as a helper in maintenance when needed and

in the lab testing the metal to make sure that it comes up in

its proper form.

§ Responsible for a number of core functions namely

the picking, packing & dispatch of our customers orders, the

processing of any customer returns, the receiving and

booking on a bulk stock in a timely manner as it is received,

and at the end of a season the packing up and dispatch of

any stock that may remain unsold.

Responsible for loading and unloading trucks with a forklift

and plate jacker.
