. Assisted with the implementation of a new, fully automated systems
platform to provide accounting for the foreign denominated derivative
products portfolio sold to corporate clients and the offset hedge
positions with global investment banks
. Managed the growth and success of a proprietary software system
(WorldTIES) supplied to corporate clients to initiate in-house foreign
currency wire transfers and bank drafts by improving the procedures
for investigating, negotiating and resolving global settlement
conflicts with foreign and domestic counterparties and correspondent

Maintained the publicly pledged collateral portion of fixed income
securities, as well as inter-affiliate security loans, from the $14
billion corporate treasury investment portfolio to accommodate trading
activity and banking regulations (FOCUS, Bloomberg, SWIFT, Bolt, Excel,
Word, PowerPoint)
. Effectively reduced the function's headcount from two people to one
person in the nine months on the job by automating most activity
through existing database capabilities
. Significantly improved the department's ability to monitor, and free-
up, pledged securities to accommodate quick and large securities sales
by creating, naming and saving FOCUS database query scripts that could
be used by current and future less technical staff for repetitive
reporting activities
. Greatly improved the relationship management process with 50+ external
securities safekeeping agents, as well as the various internal
customer relationships by automating the contact management process
using Excel, Word and common database applications
