BACKGROUND:

Nineteen years diversified and very successful in managing warehouse

Implement rate programs for courier companies. Monitor on time delivery

schedules ( P.O.D) for competing courier companies. Resolve all O.S & D

(Over, shorts and damages).Direct daily activity to ensure a safe, clean,

secure and fair work environment for associates through 5-S. Organize and

lead the focus on improved productivity levels in a manner that first

stresses effectiveness by improving processes and also stresses the

efficiency of associate work. Oversees the required maintenance and

repairs needed of the facility and equipment. Plan, manage and adjust the

daily workload and staffing to minimize overtime and temp labor . Manage

the accurate and efficient process of receiving and stocking of all customer

returns credits (C.R.C).

Ensure compliance with DOT and legislation and related company policy

by ensuring proper training, maintaining warehouse vehicles equipment.

Verifying employee driver’s licenses and permits are maintained.

Implement and Coordinates all aspects of a regional distribution center,

including receiving, stocking and picking, packing, shipping and

maintaining high quality standards. Coordinate the budget preparation for

the area. Management of the white fleet service vehicles (50) for the

department. Hire, train, coach, counsel, employee appraisals, direct work

assignments, scheduling and Preventive maintenance of all warehouse

equipment.

1985-1998 ( Part-time thru 2000)

KONICA IMAGING U.S.A., INC.

Logistics Manager of Warehouse Operations

Worked as logistics/Warehouse manager from 1985- 2000, establishing

both regional and national shipment discounts with Account

Representatives across the country, including Alaska. Also coordinated

worldwide export shipments through contacts with International cargo

companies. Helped expedite warehouse department through improved

business systems and successful leadership. Assignments included training

of personnel in computer-based programs. Additionally, implementation

and follow up on carrier programs.

SUMMARY OF

ACHIEVEMENTS: SYSTEMS & METHODS

Designed the fast-break system for through Sigma Lean for maximum

speed performance warehouse and work order completion. After working

four weeks in St. Lucie County’s Central Service Department, work order

completion went from 51% to 83% and maintained an average of 96% on

time.

ANALYZING SITUATIONS

Displayed in various ways an ability to analyze company departmental

goals and came up with a workable solution. Solutions were both

corrective and preventative as the issues presented itself.

EDUCATION:

Various courses in Warhouse Management Systems, AS400, OSHA

certified, The Customer program(Inside/Outside Customer),

Sigma Lean Management, 5-S and Accounting.
