Global manufacturer of consumer products. The Columbus site consisted of a

manufacturing, packaging and distribution facility with 275 employees plus

temporaries. This site included high-volume, high-speed precision

dispensing and assembly, chemical mixing and processing, dispensing, powder

blending and batch mixing labor intensive to high speed blister packing,

thermoforming, logistics and labeling.

Reported directly to the President. Led operations and a staff consisting

of Product Engineering, Quality Director, Manager of Equipment Engineering,

Manufacturing Unit managers and supporting employees.

integrated and consisted of high speed assembly, chemical mixing and

dispensing, injection molding, powder mixing and dispensing, packaging and

metal stamping and forming, logistics and engineering producing millions of

finished products daily.

Lancaster, SC (2001-2003)

Reported to General Manager with dotted line to Global VP of Engineering.

Directed and coordinated equipment designs, product designs, equipment

upgrades and new equipment installations for new products and technologies.

Interfaced daily with global divisions of Duracell to develop products,

implement new designs and reduce costs. Led outsourcing of a major

department including the transfer of a highly capital intensive operation.
