. Support the fabrication of nuclear containment structural and

mechanical carbon, stainless, duplex steel modules (plates,

pipes, bars, rods, sheets, angles, studs etc.) within time,

budget, and contract requirements, in a heavy industrial

environment.

. Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and

other required documents as part of the job tasks planning and

implementation process.

. Prepare construction work packages; perform field walk downs to

review in-process and completed work for conformance with design

requirements, applicable codes, standards and project

procedures.

. Inspect and verify fabricated module and sub-module components

by assessing detailed design technical drawings, schematics, and

computer-generated reports.

. Provide corrosion troubleshooting, quality control and materials

selection support.

. Identify and document all non-conforming events; prepare non-

conformance report(s) and coordinate resolution.

. Prepare field and fabrication change requests and also guide

colleagues with less experience.

. Responsible for adhering to and promoting safe work practices

and attending project meetings as required to participating and

understanding execution responsibilities (OSHA, kaizen blitz,

all hands, and QA engineering meetings) in a heavy manufacturing

setting.

. Ensure proper work, material traceability, and fabrication

procedural compliance according to nuclear industry standards.

. Correct documentation, sequences, and drawings issued to shop

travelers, in order to ensure the documentation matches the work

completed.

. Observe and ensure construction practices as required for

compliance of construction operations/execution with federal,
