(September 2009 to May 2010)

. The objective of this project was to design a low cost Myoelectric

Prosthetic hand capable of performing daily activity.

. Market research- Presently available hands, FDA and EPA, ISO

regulations, and Cost analysis.

. Model designed in Solid Works.

. Force sensor and flex sensor detection system coded in LAB- VIEW.

. Prototype printed using Rapid Prototyping machine.

. Outlined testing and validation procedure.

. Mechanical, Electrical, Software testing, Overall Performance Testing

and Statistical analysis was performed.

. Produced detailed assembly instruction.

. Results were presented in a conference to an audience of Surgeon's and

Scientist.
