Greetings,

I am hoping for an opportunity to discuss the job possibilities with you

and that I may be able to draw upon my expertise

that I have developed in many areas and bring those skills into the job

situation. My past expertise is focused in Marketing, Advertising,

Communications, Graphic Design and Education. I have been involved in many

aspects of business, from conceptualizing and creating product lines, to

the managing and development of departments, materials and creating

marketing plans. I have also been an Account Executive, which has given me

several years of sales experience. Over the past few years I have also

taught at SLC Community College and have been a substitute teacher within

the Jordan and Granite school districts.

EDUCATION

Attended the Salt Lake Community College and finished my studies at the

University of Utah in Marketing, Advertising, Visual Communications, Art

and Graphic Design. During and after college I worked within advertising

agencies and In-House situations. I have been able to fine-tune my skills

in many areas, which have given me a positive edge on the competition

in all aspects of the business needs of the clients I have worked for.

EXPERIENCE

I've worked with many different types of businesses and clients and

successfully helped them meet their marketing and creative needs with

projects that have ranged from sporting products, ice cream, medical,

dental, retail, computer products, web design, auto, real estate, as well

as fund raising for hospitals. I have been involved in many aspects of

business, from conceptualizing and creating of product lines to the

managing and development of the departments.

Over the years I have received Addy's, Best of Show awards with my entries

at the college. Art Directors shows and Illustrators West Show in Los

Angeles. Also awards from Beckett Mead Paper Company, Kimberely Clark

Corporation and Beckett Paper Company for my Design work. I have won

Awards of Excellence from Utah Advertising Federation for my Designs and

Advertising, Utah Art Directors and also Society of Illustrators.

Sutter & Associates: Art/Creative Director. Over the past few years I have

been involved with several clients that I have worked for as a Marketer

and graphic designer. I have developed marketing plans, design concepts,

created finished printed pieces for advertising and marketing, strategies

for clients and their products in the marketplace, web marketing and

development. Social Networking and I have also taught in High Schools and

College students the talents and skills I have acquired.

Children's Miracle Network: Manager Communications. I worked as the

manager of communications, marketing, graphic design, and creating

programs and collateral materials for raising money for over 170

children's hospitals in the US and Canada. Developed CMN's brand and

managed a department that worked with other departments and hospitals

across the US to promote their brand with their many sponsors. Duties also

included a yearly telethon that involved celebrities and athletes, plus

their CMN directors 3-day seminars and events.

Salt Lake City Credit Union: Marketing Director. Created and implemented

the many promotions and services that were provided at the several

branches throughout the city. Redesigned the logo, web page and updated

all of their promotional material to create a better awareness of their

brand with a more professional and progressive image. Developed marketing

campaigns with radio and print ads to promote key products and services

that were being offered through the credit union. As a result of many of

the month to month ads, profitability and sales of many of their products,

such as auto loans, setting up new accounts, mortgage loans, VISA cards

and CD's increased. I developed their marketing plan and implemented it

over the year, and updated their image with a new look and feel to all of

the print, signage, brochures, ads, posters, and web page designs.

Salt Lake Community College: Instructor. I was hired as a full time

instructor at the Salt Lake Community College and I taught classes at the

college in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Design, Graphic Design, Visual

Communications, Occupational Orientation and Portfolio, Illustration and

Photography. I would direct and instruct classes from 20-30 plus students

per class, plus create instructional plans, syllabuses, tests and much of

the curriculum that would be taught each quarter that would give the

students the skill sets needed in the marketplace. I enjoyed very much

teaching and interacting with all levels of students, sharing with them

the skills that I have honed over the past 15 plus years.
