Detailed Job Description

General Truck Equipment

Title: Sales Administration

Sales

. Act as Inside Sales Rep selling flatbed, service, cargo van and

refrigerated bodies, truck mounted cranes and lift gates.

Responsible for customized order specifications including

miscellaneous truck accessories.

. Assist outside sales staff with pricing, quotes, specifications and

customer service.

. Update sales staff with regard to cost increases, sales price

increases and changes to product lines.

. Open work orders and provide production shop a detailed description

of work to be performed.

. Invoice customers when work is completed.

. Cost out and close work orders to determine total cost to complete

job and profit.

. Figure sales commissions and record to monthly commissions reports.

Purchasing and Receiving

. Order truck equipment from manufacturers.

. Coordinate shipment of inventory with manufacturers and freight

brokers.

. Approve invoices for payment.

Inventory Control

. Responsible for tracking inventory on software based program

designed for the truck equipment industry.

. Enter received equipment into inventory.

. Maintain adequate inventory for daily operations.

. Responsible for annual physical inventory and equipment

identification.

Chassis Pool Coordinator

. Order Ford and Dodge truck chassis from manufacturers.

. Maintain a quarterly forecast and commitment schedule with

manufacturers.

. Submit transfers to manufacturers to assign completed pool trucks

to truck dealers throughout the southeast region.

Miscellaneous Duties

. Assist manufacturer's auditors on a monthly basis.

. Attend annual meetings with truck manufacturers.
