Summary of Professional Accomplishments and Employment History

. Successfully functioned as a senior level programmer/analyst with

Boeing Enterprise Accounting System (EAS) on high volume and multi-

customer critical application development. Activities included

gathering customer requirements, creating effective design solutions,

coding, several levels of documented testing, implementation,

training, troubleshooting, and ongoing 24x7 on call production support

as needed with PeopleSoft Applications running on Oracle databases on

Unix Operating System.

. Lead programmer/analyst for EAS Reporting team utilizing PeopleTools

Application Designer, Oracle SQL, SQR, Pro-COBOL, PeopleCode, and

Application Engine for five years. Activities included gathering

customer requirements, creating effective design solutions, coding,

several levels of testing, implementation, training, troubleshooting,

and ongoing 24x7 on call production support. I trained 3 young

programmers to assist with this.

. Supported multiple upgrades for PeopleTools, PeopleSoft, Oracle, new

HP UNIX servers and operating systems requiring rewrites, testing and

troubleshooting to ensure process compatibility. The most recent

upgrade was from PeopleSoft Financials 8.81 to 9.1 and from

PeopleTools 8.49 to 8.50. We also converted our Oracle databases to

Unicode for this upgrade.

. Programmer/Analyst for the realignment team of EAS. This also

utilized PeopleTools, PS Application Designer, Oracle SQL, SQR, and

Application Engine. Worked directly with the customers to assist them

with identification, processing, and validation of the data which was

realigned between business units or from legacy systems of

acquisitions into EAS.

. Created views of the Oracle 10g reporting tables to enforce the

desired level of security for the new business units when converting

from a Legacy System to a proprietary system; whereby satisfying their

requirements and bringing this large business unit into the common

accounting system.

. Made significant modifications in the last year to SQRs and SQCs which

allowed PeopleSoft Accounts Receivable to produce invoices that were

satisfactory to both governmental and private company customers.

. For 5 years, I effectively maintained the company book of record for

the Enterprise Accounting System (a large partitioned Oracle table of

over 7.8 billion records), large denormalized Oracle tables (1.9

billion and 175 million records), and many smaller Oracle validation

tables for production of batch reports, online query, and downstream

system access. The tables were maintained mainly with PeopleSoft

Application Engines, PeopleCode, and SQL.

. For 5 years, produced 94 monthly and 25 weekly individual reports for

541 business units for customer validation and reference. Created and

modified SQRs for these reports, gathering customer requirements,

creating effective design solutions, coding, several levels of

documented testing, implementation, training, troubleshooting, and

ongoing 24x7 on call production support as needed with PeopleSoft

Applications running on Oracle databases on Unix Operating System.

. Programmer/Analyst supporting the General Ledger Project Costing and

Conversion project for two years. Developed systems and programs for

the conversion and support of the IBM mainframe General Ledger to a

PeopleSoft Oracle application. Developed interfaces from PeopleSoft

using SQRs and Application Engine programs to make the conversion

transparent for downstream systems.

. Reduced the preparation for realignments to 1/3 of the former

completion rate by identifying portions of the realignments that were

alike, setting up tables to hold the variable portions of the coding,

coding programs that would read this data and determining the proper

journal entries that were needed, whereby establishing testing

procedures and creating compare reports that allowed the users to make

test runs of the production data to verify that the realignment was

correct before the processing was actually done in production.
