QUALIFICATIONS:
Bi-yearly fire safety inspections of five Georgia Forestry Units and
thirteen Rural Fire Departments in Taylor/Macon Counties, to ensure
standards up to code for the county and state. Safety officer for District
#7 of the Georgia Forestry Commission, which include eighteen counties,
responsible for following all state, county, and OSHA safety standards.
This includes both building and equipment safety. Responsible for
servicing and maintenance of all fire equipment, hiring new employees,
building construction on new and existing buildings, which includes plan
design, labor coordination, and materials purchase. Promote sales and
provide Excellent Customer Service, Collaboration with local, county, and
state disciplines conducting Arson investigation. Direct supervisor for
Taylor and Macon counties wild land management and fire suppression, which
include inspections on firebreaks as per the Best Management Practice
Guidelines. Multiple assignments as a task force leader during emergency
incidents, including state fires and inclement weather, supervising and
coordinating up to 15 people. State of Georgia POST certified since 1994.
Serves as District Ranger occasionally, overseeing 18 counties fire
suppression and equipment safety. Complete county wide Community Wildland
Protection Plan (CWPP) for multiple counties which includes preparedness
for Natural and manmade disasters.

EMPLOYMENT:
2003-present: Chief Ranger Taylor/Macon County, Georgia Forestry
Commission, Safety Officer for 18 counties. Responsibilities include
safety education and training, annual rural fire department inspections on
all equipment, monthly and quarterly training of employees to ensure annual
training requirements as per the Georgia Forestry Commission policy and
procedure are met, enforcement over 45 employees to follow all health and
safety codes. 24/7 fire protection, safety, and suppression of wildfires
in Taylor/Macon counties, which include direct supervision of 4 employees.
Manage day to day operations of two offices. Oversee all ordering, shipping
and receiving for two county offices. Manage Credit Card account for all
materials received.
2000-2003: Ranger 1 Sumter and Schley Counties, Georgia Forestry
Commission. Suppression of wildfires and fire break maintenance.
1995-2000: Metering Technician, Sumter Electric Membership
Corporation. Read meters, connect and disconnect lineman crew, bucket
truck operation, substation repair, install generators, quality control.
1993-1996: Patrolman, Ellaville Police Department and Schley County
Sheriff Department. Patrol city, incident forms, accident reports,
citations, serve warrants, Bailiff Duties, courtroom testimony, Investigate
crimes, and dispatcher as needed.
CERTIFICATIONS
Pressurized water systems and supplies, ENOP (engine operator course
and portable pumps and water use, fire operations in the urban interface,
type 3 incident management team, response to Hazardous materials incident,
