Responsible for Human Resources management in fourteen (14) states 300
clients. With a staff of six (6) home-based HR professional we have the
responsibility of keeping the clients in compliance with state and federal
law, training, orientations, problem solving, and aiding the client with
any situations affecting the human-side of their business. At the
corporate level, designed and implemented a broadband compensation plan for
internal employees and aided in developing incentive programs for the
management staff.

Officer, Administration
Responsible for Human Resources, Communications, Public Relations,
advertisement, Facilities, and Governmental Affairs for this $360 M
developer of independent power generation. With a staff of five (5),
offices in California and Fairfax, VA, and sixteen (16)-operating units I
also served as the senior manager responsible for an independent
environmental service group. During my time at LG&E I designed a new
executive compensation and incentive program, coordinated the TQM,
teamwork, and empowerment programs. I also caused to be evaluated and
installed a new state-of-the-art HRIS system. JD Edwards system was
selected due to ease of use and fulfilling the needs of a diverse
organization. A payroll module was not considered.

Corporate Human Resources responsibility for the worldwide 60 cycle power
generation markets, sales, installation and service for his subsidiary of
Siemens Corporation ($900 M, 3500 employees, 8 locations). In this
capacity, I also chaired the planning team that consolidated all Siemens
Power companies in the U.S. into a single corporation with common benefits
while leaving the various entities competitive in their respective markets.

provided the human resources for sales/marketing, executive, installation
engineering in Bradenton, FL, service in Milwaukee, WI, manufacturing in
Milwaukee, WI and Mulheim, West Germany.

With a local staff of four (4) plus a Human Resources Manager at five (5)
manufacturing plants I was responsible for Human Resources in this
privately held $250 M, 1500 employee corporation with sixteen (16) plants
and offices. As the first professional Human Resources ever to occupy a
place on the senior staff, it was necessary to build the organizational
policy and practices from scratch, including pay scales and benefits. In
addition, I participated in the due diligence for the acquisition of
Uniflight Boat Companies in Bellingham, WA and the unsuccessful bid to
acquire Wilson Sporting Goods. Responsibilities also included the
negotiations of 6 labor agreements with 4 unions, and the successful
campaign to defeat organization efforts in Goshen, IN and Swansboro, NC.
Allis-Chalmers/Siemens Corporation/KVW AG, Gadsden, AL, Bradenton, FL

Joined Allis-Chalmers in Gadsden, AL in 1974 responsible for labor
relations and other Human Resources functions for two operating divisions.
Negotiated three (3) local labor agreements with the UAW and participated
at the national negotiation table. Conducted grievance meeting, trained,
and represented the company in community affairs.
In 1979 the company created an Allis-Chalmers/KVW company in Bradenton, FL.
This company known as Allis-Chalmers Power Systems, Inc. later became
Siemens Power Corporation. I was asked to move to Bradenton to be a part
of the 7 person corporate planning team and be responsible for formulation
to policy and procedures affecting Human Resources. This activity
proceeded until the oil embargo of 1984 caused the potential market to dry
up. I left the organization in favor of keeping active in my profession.
