Tooling Manager/Engineer with 37 plus years in the metal working industry,

. Managed all aspects of the Extrusion and Forge Tooling, this included

a $3 million dollar budget, quoting new products, purchasing and

scrapping of worn tooling.

. Work with Tooling Suppliers on development and delivery of all

tooling.

. Products developed were for both tier 1 automotive suppliers and non-

automotive.

. Developed a computer database for tracking tooling performance, scrap

causes and life.

. Used data to make tooling adjustments and improvements.

. Controlled and monitored inventories of all tooling.

. Supplied monthly reports on tooling performance and spending.

Tooling Manager / Engineer / Tool room Supervisor 1989 - 1999

Managed the Forge Tooling and supervised the tool room at HAA.

1. Designed, purchased and managed all aspects of the Forge tooling

business at HAA.

2. Assigned customer liaison for a new product developed and shipped to a

tier 1 global supplier in Japan.

3. Purchased an installed 100% automatic gauging for forged compressor

pistons, reducing customer complaints by 75%.

Engineer / Tool room Supervisor 1987 - 1989

Worked in Engineering on process and production improvements, as well as

supervising the tool room work.

4. Worked with the extrusion department on new product developments.

5. Worked with cut to length department, as micro tubing and flat tube

cutting became popular.

6. Purchased and refurbished tube bending hairpin machines.

7. Developed the first micro tube cut to length machine at HAA.
