Title: Capacity planning tool sing Microsoft excel

Objective: Design and develop a capacity planning tool to manage resource

count on day to day operations for CTB McGraw Hill, Indianapolis.

Title: Continuous Improvement Techniques Applied to FMVSS-121 Testing of

Foundation Brakes

Objective: Apply lean principles like 5S, Six Sigma, Spaghetti charts,

process maps, value stream maps to decrease non value added time in the

brake testing procedure at Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC, Kalamazoo,

Michigan.

Title: Simulation of a semi automated manufacturing line using Pro-model.

Objective: To analyze the pallet sensitivity to throughput of the line,

observe the bottle necks and calculate OEE. This project was done for

American Axle & Manufacturers, (WHQ), Detroit and resulted in US$510,000 in

savings for the company.

Title: Capital Budgeting Simulation.

Objective: Understanding the existing Capital budgeting techniques and

developed a new technique using linear integer programming to maximize

return on projects and maximize earnings per share.

Title: Evaluate a Manual Material Handling (MMH) lifting task

ergonomically.

Objective: To evaluate a MMH task biomechanically and physiologically using

Lumbar Motion Monitor(LMM) and 3D Static Strength Prediction

Program(3DSSPP) and compare it with the NIOSH standards. This project was

done for American Axle & Manufacturers, (WHQ), Detroit.

Title: Design of a computer facility layout.

Objective: Design of a computer manufacturing facility to decrease travel

time. Optimize space to support extra demand.

Robotics and Automation:

Title: Bronco Robot

Objective: Building and programming a Humanoid to emulate Human actions.

The programming was done in PIC C and Microchip PIC18F8722 was used.

Title: Automated car wash system.

Objective: Develop an automated car wash system using Rockwell software RS

Logix 500 and Allen Bradley PLC.
