PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

October 2008-September 2009

Senior Production Planner - Minco Company - Fridley, MN

Senior Planner responsible for the Potted Sensors and

Instrumentation Families. Primary planning areas included

Surface Mount, Control Box Assembly and Humidity Assemblies

work centers. Identified and implemented the primary Shop

Floor Control piece of IFS after the initial implementation of

IFS Software. Analyzed and approved Customer Contracts and

worked with Sales to determine Customer Order delivery

requirements on a daily basis. Worked with Purchasing to

expedite any purchased shortages and helped set minimum raw

material inventory levels. Set all pertinent Master Data

including Min-Max-Multiples of lot sizes as well as evaluating

and setting Safety Stock levels for assigned areas.

Increased on-time delivery from 78% to a high of 93% in

Instruments over an 8 month period and increased on-time

delivery from 67% to 88% in the Potted Sensors Family over a 6

month period. Reduced overall finished goods inventory by 10%

in assigned areas including approximately $80,000 in the

Humidity Product Code. Supervised and coached 3 Associate

Planners who planned the High-Volume Frymaster Sensors,

Miniatures and Machine Shop work centers. Used IFS and

Microsoft Office to execute this position

June 2007- October 2008

Production Control Supervisor - Stallion Doors and Millwork,

Inc. - St. Cloud, MN

Responsible for the overall planning and production control of

a level-load manufacturer who had a 10 day production process

from order entry to shipment. Duties included selecting the

daily schedule, forecasting and creation of jobs for Quick-

Ship stock, modifying any configurations and optimized

materials usage. Supervised two Production Control clerks who

completed all production and materials data entry and

reporting. Used Syteline, an optimizing software as well as

Microsoft Office to execute this position.

June 2005- June 2007

Materials Manager - JBJ Manufacturing Inc. - Faribault, MN

Responsible for the overall planning and scheduling of

manufacturing, creation of Production Orders and Purchase

Orders for all materials necessary to complete production of

parts assemblies for McNeilus Truck and skid steer buckets

for Bobcat Mfg. These responsibilities included using

JobBoss 10.0 in creating and closing all manufacturing

travelers. Negotiated and purchased all raw materials and

subcontracted services which included plating and paint.

Worked with Sales and the Customers to meet Customer Order

due dates. Master Data integrity which included BOMs,

Routings, Lot Sizes and Safety Stocks were improved by

working with the Shop Floor personal and the Manufacturing

Engineer. Worked with Exact Software staff as a JobBoss Beta

test site to help improve the software.

October 1999-May 2005

Solvay Pharmaceuticals - Baudette, MN

Master Scheduler - October 1999 - May 2005

Responsible for the Master Schedule and finished goods

inventory levels of all product lines through forecast and

sales analysis. Other duties included working with

engineering on project cost justification through cost and

process analysis as well as maintaining integrity of item

masters; including developing BOM's and Routings for new

products. Provided Sales with monthly S&OP data and

participated in the monthly S&OP meetings. Production

achieved a 99.8% customer service inventory level during 2003

and 100% in 2004. Used SAP and briefly used MANMAN to verify

transition.

Business Team Lead PP/PI & Core Team Member/Power User- SAP

Implementation

March 2002 - May 2005

Business Team Lead of the configuration of the PP/PI module

using Version 4.6c. Responsible for settings in the IMG for

PP/PI. Responsibilities also included Materials Master-

Manufacturing and Planning views, Resources, BOM's,

Operations and Phases, Recipe & Process Order creation, and

Demand Management.

Team members were awarded Solvay's highest honor the Solvay

Pioneer Award in 2004.
