* Procurement of Weld Consumables & Capital Equipment for Code & Non-Code
Work
* Logistics for Manpower Loading, Equipment for Code & Non-Code Work
(Varied Crafts)
* Generate & Qualify Welding Procedures
* Welder Testing & Documentation (Welder Continuity Log, Certs; PQR's,
WPS's, Etc.)
* Field Machining Training (Tri-Tool, Wach's, ESCO, Boring Systems etc.)
* Meet QA/QC Standards per NQA-1, ASME or AWS Requirements
* Single Point of Contact with Customer or Customer Representatives
* Employee Safety Training per OSHA, MOST & Site Specific Safety
Requirements
* Aided in Design & Build of Remote/Automatic GTAW & GMAW Weld Systems per
Customer Specs / Mock-Up
* Job-Site Safety Adherence & Enforcement (Confined Space, High Lead Areas,
Hex. Chrome, etc.)
* Estimating and Budgeting for Coded Work (RFQ, Blueprints or ISO's)
* Installation of Gas Piping, Food Service, Process Piping
* Maintain Inventory of Welding Consumables & Parts.
* Control Tooling cost's and Inventory
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
* Capable of proper Weld Alloy & Weld Process Selection
* Certified & Proficient in GMAW, SMAW, GTAW in Automatic, Semi-Automatic &
Manual applications
* Certified in Inconel, Hastalloy, Stainless Steel, High Chrome, Carbon
Steel & Aluminum Alloys
* Proficient in Set-Up & Operation of Field Machining & Welding Equipment (
Wach's, Dimetrics, Magnatek)
* Nuclear Training in Field Machining & Welding (MSIV) Main Steam Isolation
Valves, (CRDM) "Control Rod Drive Mechanism, (PWR) Pressurized Water
