CNRL Refinery Project, Arcadia, CA

Worked on the CNRL Refinery Project involving steel and concrete design using Canadian Codes and metric

system. Mainly involved in the design of Sulphur pit design, Sulphur pit and seal pots and Look Boxes, Tank

and foundation design for various process tanks using steel piling in permafrost conditions etc. Interfacing

with the process and piping departments in finalizing final configuration was among the other responsibilities.

Involved in the design and review of Sunbury FGD Project for modifications of the stack support steel, cable

tray support steel and foundation design for the stack support etc. using STAAD Pro design software.

Involved in the design and review of the Keystone Precipitator duct support load evaluation due to plant

modifications.

Roxboro Unit 2 Plant, Roxboro, NC

Review of the structural steel calculations for the design of Recycle Pump House, Limestone Building and

Waste treatment Building. Also designed FGD Waste Treatment Plant using ACI 359.

the Fire Protection Activities. Interfaced with STR activities when required. Led and coordinated activities among

Led the development of a 3D model of the Melter Storage Box and analyzed,using STAAD III computer program.

Involved in the modifications of the HV AC and Purge system modifications. Reviewed procurement specifications for the

damper and seismic switches. Developed a STAAD III model for the missile barrier for the vaporizer and nitrogen tanks.

Performed the emergency task of providing a shoring and underpinning scheme for assessing leak detection. Received a

"General Manager's Excellence Award" for contributions to this project. Designed shipping container for the failed ITP

filter and conducted evaluation of steel platforms for tanks.
