Description:

The HRIS Plan Admin System is a software application used for setting up

clients and their employees in Paychex 401(k) Record keeping, Section 125,

Workers Compensation and Unemployment Insurance products. HRIS system uses

GIANT (Generic Interface And Network Transport) System, to exchange data

between the 401(k) and Section 125 systems and the branch. GIANT enables

corporate 401(k) and Section 125 Specialists to code clients on the payroll

database for the 401(k) and Section 125 products. GIANT relieves the

Payroll Specialist of most of the coding tasks that were required to set up

clients on the 401(k) and Section 125 products in the past.

As a Programmer Analyst, the responsibilities included:

Description :

Homerun is a client/server application developed for GE-TIP - an Industry

leader in the rent, lease and sale of Trailers, to serve its Operation's

function of the business. This module facilitates the maintenance and

repairs of trailer units. The system records a unit's damage, permits

standardized customer re-bill immediately, and aids the branch in tracking

the entire unit's repair process. Additionally, maintenance and warranties

will be automatically scheduled and recorded.

As a programmer analyst, the responsibilities included:

Analysis, Design, and coding of complete application.

Studying existing organization setup.

Interacting with Client to improve business functionality of the

Homerun is a client/server application was developed for GE-TIP - an

trailer reservation information for customers when they call up to reserve

trailers. It is very tightly integrated with Lease and Rates modules and

also accesses Customer and Inventory modules.

Description :

Billing System is one of the major modules in RAMPS (Resource Allocation

Monitoring and Project profitability System). RAMPS is a program of

projects which would enable monitoring of the business operations

This system mainly used to raise invoices based on the different services

provided by the Wipro Systems to the Clients. The Billing system would

address the following key features:

i) Centralized information on billing due/done at

assignment/group/department level

ii) Invoice preparation and printing/saving in other formats

iii) Accurate reconciliation of overseas allowance and invoice

iv) Reduce operation costs

v) Projections based on Planned Vs Actual business done

The system was able to utilize the full power of the application

Description :

Leap is a Financial Analysis and Reporting System developed for the

Corporate information Services, the IT arm of the global giant GE. This

Client/Server System was integrated with an existing Mainframe Ledger

Processing System; the data for analysis and reporting came from various

sources (Mainframe and Client P/Cs) and was integrated at the back-end

server

The Project also involved understanding of the Client Business, which was

in the area of Financial Accounting and establishing a smooth transfer of

data between the Mainframe system and Client Pcs through an MDI Gateway.

The idea of OLE also used extensively to tap the power of spreadsheet

applications, in this case MS-Excel. The system was thus able to utilize

the full power of the application development tool and still provide an

easily maintainable open system.

As a programmer analyst, the responsibilities included:

Understanding of the client business, which was in the area of Financial

Accounting

Developed database objects procedures, functions

Establishing a smooth transfer of data between the Mainframe system and

Description :

TRS is a system designed to provide all information about all officially

approved tours connected with the affairs of the company including

Transfer, Leave Travels and other Official Tours. The system has been

divided into Three sub modules. Employee Classification module deals with

Employees category and applicable criteria for reimbursements made by the

Employee. Travel and Stay Information module deal with the expenses depend

on the mode of Travel (Road/Air/Sea), expenses of boarding and lodging

admissible on Tour. Travel expenses on Transfer module deals with the

details of reimbursements admissible to an Employee with respect to his

category at the time of commencement of his out-ward-journey from his

previous Head Quarters
