Professional Experience:
Account Manager 7/07-2/09 I-Wireless LLC-I was part of the I-Wireless rollout to
the Kroger stores in the S.W. Division of Kroger. I trained associates to sell the
prepaid wireless program to the public, educating and building awareness of the
program; also store demos, grand openings, inventory control, merchandising 63
stores.
Account Manager 6/03-7/07 Sears Contract Sales-I sold appliance to Property
Management (apartments) and commercial real estate companies, hospitals, schools
and builders. I also prepared bids and contracts, held trade shows with the
apartment associations, sold parts and service on the appliances we serviced.
Territory Manager 10/99-8/02 Newell Rubbermaid/Levelor Kirsch I was responsible
for sales and service to the retail chains, trade shows seminars/pk classes. I managed
a staff of merchandisers to service big box stores and major retailers. I trained
associates in the retail chains to sell our window treatments.
Territory Manager 7/97-7/99 Contempo Colours-I sold party supplies and gifts to
the retail trade in South Texas. I reset plan-o-grams, attended trade shows and
managed a staff of merchandisers to service large retail accounts. I developed and
maintained the territory and was a leader in the sales force finishing 186% of quota.
Area Sales Manager 8/95-7/97 Paramount Cards- Sales and service to the retail
industry in major markets of South Texas. I managed, trained and directed a team
of 14 merchandisers to set up and maintain greeting card departments and gift
wrap departments at the retail level. I also prospected for new business, trade shows
and was named Sales Manager of the year in 1996.
Territory Manager 10/86-3/92 Duracell U.S.A. I was responsible for sales and
service to twenty-seven different classes of trade including OEM wholesales/retail
and industrial at headquarters and retail level. I also set up trade shows for my
markets, customer service, returns, merchandising and resets. I managed a staff of
retail merchandisers to maintain service. I was in the top 5% of the sales force 6
years running. I was named territory manager of the year in 1989 out of 250 people.
