Current Operations Supervisor

. Direct supervision of three senior transfer station

attendants, indirect spa of control consists of forty

individuals.

. Plan and direct logistics as we move 200 tons of material

through in-house trucking from three sites to a

central location on a daily basis.

. Key member of the management team as recycling was

implemented within the solid waste system.

. Provided guidance to staff and sold program to employees

during this key event change.

. Each of the assigned sites run a dirty MRF six days a week,

baling material pulled from the waste stream.

. Effectively decreased trucking by 30% through two fronts:

1) Improved loading procedures and ensured properly

loaded trucks 100% of time.

2) Removed recyclable material from the waste stream,

thereby reducing the number of loads per day.

. Direct supervision of co-mingled recyclable sort facility

at one of the transfer stations, plan, coordinate and

ensure that value is added during the sort process.

. Implemented tailgate safety training sessions with all

staff on a weekly basis. This training not only covers

OSHA core areas but also meet departmental needs.

. Lead the department and negotiated with the Arizona State

Department of Corrections to an intergovernmental

agreement to provide inmate labor to our sites.

Directly responsible for dispatching crews and materials

through out the state. Monitored all trucks and crews

using a tele-tracking system. Worked closely with production

and quality control areas. Responsible for the loading of trucks using

CAD. Worked closely with inspectors and contractors to meet all

customer needs in a timely manner. Directly responsible for

calculation of daily material needed.
