Duties: Included, on floor sales, phone coverage, scheduling
installation, in home estimating and diagramming,
measurements for carpet, vinyl, tile, and hardwood. Writing contracts
and scheduling installation. I also was required to list any
accessories needing to complete the job satisfactory, such as floor
patch, Metals, and molding's, ETC
10/2/97 - 12/2/05: Customer Service Representative. Creative Retail
Services, Alpharetta, GA
Duties: Calling on Home Depot Stores in L.A, Ventura, and Santa
Barbara Counties. As a service merchandiser. This job entailed meeting
with store management to make arrangements for setting displays. I
also was required to build displays in designated end caps using space
available and available merchandise. I was also required to check
inventory using Home depots computer programs, upon completion, was
required to place orders via fax and store managements authorization.
I was also required on a monthly call, to give what is referred to as
a PK (product knowledge) to associates of Home Depot. This required
extensive product knowledge and knowing practical usage. I also used
Home Depot computer system for any price changes that were necessary.
